Happy new year from us here at Sifted Together!
We are holding on to and giving thanks for the memories of 2018 while, at the same time, looking forward to all that 2019 has to offer. We have plans for this new year, but are always open to serendipity and surprises. We know that life is what happens while we are busy making plans. Our plans are usually a point of departure, with the original destination not always being where we end up. That’s OK. We believe that where we ultimately come to rest is where we are supposed to be!
As a thank you for your support and also to give you a little push to get baking in 2019, we are giving away a $50 King Arthur Flour gift certificate!! I didn’t know you had this blog. I bookmarked so I can follow. Your baking always looks so good. In 2019 I want to try and remake key lime pie. I made it before it was very tart.
Hey Bob! 🙂 Yep, I think Key Lime Pie is right up there with Lemon Meringue for me, I love them both! The problem I always seem to have is they taste too eggy, lol. The only recipe I’ve ever tried though is the one that uses the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk… You’ve gotten me thinking on making on again!

I am going to do another round of Whole30 starting next week so want to get better at cooking beef and pork, roasting veggies and making make ahead breakfasts! Nothing fancy but I gotta start somewhere. ?
I myself am always looking for pork recipes I’ll like and want to make again, lol. I hate the fails…
I haven’t made scones in ages and was thinking it would make a nice weekend treat?
I enjoy baking desserts with alternative flours and sugars like almond flour and agave or coconut sugar. I have a bundt cake pan that I want to use more this year.
I was so excited when I got my nice Bundt pan a couple years ago – it was birthday present to myself from KAF!
